ProducePak Farm Management Core Modules

ProducePak Farm Management Core Modules

Materials Inventory

As for Materials Inventory in the Pack House System, this module records all consumables purchased and used through natural processes, in particular all fertilisers, chemicals and other items used on your blocks (block inputs) in preparation for planting. By recording this data you will have increased accountability and traceability of all inventories.

By allowing suppliers to access the ‘Suppliers’ web services page through secured user permissions, they can check stock levels and fill orders without leaving their premises. With such control over your stock its highly unlikely that you’ll be short of certain inventory during the high season or long weekends.

Spray and Water Diaries

Recording all spray and water activities, this module will also automatically calculate chemical quantities and estimated time to complete jobs. Both diaries can be printed enabling you to use them as a work instruction for staff at the beginning of each day or they can be recorded retrospectively. ProducePak Spray and Water Diaries provide full traceability of quantities of active ingredients sprayed, necessary for HACCP requirements.

Because you have all of the information on-hand you no longer have to spend weeks gathering and preparing the relevant information for HACCP audits as ProducePak has done it for you instantly. Spray costs are then calculated against the particular block and/crop they were used on.

Block and Crop Inputs

Block and Crop Inputs records all products used on a particular block, in particular at the preparation of a block and planting stage. This provides an accurate costing of the production of each block/crop.

Timesheets

More than just a means to record staff hours, ProducePak timesheets enhances your standard timesheet recording practices by incorporating means to measure the efficiency and use of machinery/equipment. It also provides you with the ability to track labour back to a particular block or crop and to monitor labour so as to ensure that it is being used to its full potential.

To save time in entering labour details, ProducePak Timesheets has built in functions where you need only enter one staff member and then simply ‘tick’ down a list of others who were performing the same duty and ‘copy them over to the timesheets. Additionally, if you have one staff member who is performing the same task on multiple blocks, as for multiple employees, you need only enter one block for a person then simply copy the other relevant blocks into the timesheets, using the ‘Bulk Blocks’ function.

Harvest Summary

The Harvest Summary module records the accurate count of produce that you are sending to the packing shed. In addition to tracking the number of bins/buckets sent, this module provides you with immediate data and a host of reports showing the productivity/yield/income of any given block/crop. What this means is that you can make timely and informed decisions rather than having to wait until the end of the season to make such decisions. For example, one grower analysed the ProducePak Block reports and as a result decided it would be more profitable to ‘slash’ the block rather than to continue harvesting it.

Note: core modules also include other standard modules such as reporting, control panel, and other utilities.
